Does it come with a plug in for the espresso machine and smoothie maker? If so, I need one! ;)

I haven't been following MUD lately...Is the 80 series version ready?

Looks great Marco - nice job on the installation! :thumb:

Wow. I remember when Kevin first started building one of those on 'Mud. Looks like he's got a full blown enterprise now. Looks really nice.

JT (Trapper50cal) installed his over the weekend. Saw it today in person. All I can say is I can't wait for the 80 series version to be done.

Thanks!

Yeah, this thing looked really professional... it was nice to not have to fabricate anythign for a change!! Just bolt it in! I think one would be GREAT for the 80 owner that has everything (or thinks they do ;) )

Looks really clean Marco, can't wait to see it.

edit: and looks like quite the 80 backlog http://www.wagongear.com/80Orders.html I'm sure once all those guys get theirs, he oughta have the process down pretty good!

Very nice! I can't believe how much storage space you gained. Seems like something like that could be developed for Tacoma/minitruck tailgates as well.

It really is nice, and Kevins a great guy to deal with.

My tailgate was bowed and bent down near the hinges and the tailgate storage was rigid enough to bring it back.

yeah, the backlog is pretty long. I can't even remember when I signed up to get mine. Just get your name on the list and forget about it.. that's what I did. I think it was worth it, and like I said... no fab work involved :)

Marco,

Are you still loving your tailgate storage??

Apparently my name is up on the list so it is order now or give away my spot...I'm very tempted to get it despite the cost as I think it would be a great place to keep tow straps and winch controllers and what not handy :thumb:

I really like it, I keep all of my recovery gear in it and it has been super nice to have that much stuff so easily accessible.. Seems like a good place to keep recovery gear too since the sides for the truck are always near the side of the trail and kind of blocked.. the back is almost always easy to get into. It has lasted pretty well and I have had it loaded since I installed it.

I say go for it.. it's nice to get it one day and just pop it in without doing any real work..

Don't drop your spot! I'll take it if you don't want it. :thumb:

Trust me...If I did "give away" my spot I wouldn't do so until making sure no one here wanted it :D. $400 is a lot of coin to drop on a little bit of additional storage room though...But it sure would be nice to have some space to throw the necessities in and just leave them for when needed 'cuz I ain't got no drawers :hill:

True, $400 might make me think about it more, I think mine was much cheaper than that but I got in on it early... now he knows they are hot items.

Base price on the 80 series lid is more than the 60 series ($325 vs. $275) and he has changed the latch options and they cost anywhere from $42 to $130 depending on what you select. Throw in shipping and pricing runs around $400-$490 or so...Makes you think twice about pulling the trigger

I know what you mean but I pulled the trigger and it is a great mod. You could duplicate it and build your own but my guess is you will spend every penny and then some before it was done

after I got my $500 estimate a few weeks ago for the stainless latches and grippy plastic I had to pass for the time being.

I paid 275 for mine ( Because I got on the list under the wire before prices went up) and it is invaluble. The milk crate in the back is gone and all my recovery/spare birfs,ujoints,ubolts,fuses/firstaid/manuals etc. are stowed away nicely. I added barrel locks to help out the plastic latches. But of course my tailgate weighs 100lbs now. It's just nice to have it tucked away in previously un-utilized free space. Oh, and mines on a 60
