I never thought I'd need a CB ever again, but they continue to be required for certain events.

I don't have a lot of space for a large chassis radio in my cab, and I would consider a "display-on-mic" remote mount type. No need for WX as my 2M rig handles that duty. What have you got?

I don't have a CB radio for sale, but here is a suggestion:

Uniden 520XL (http://www.uniden.com/products/productdetail.cfm?product=PRO520XL)

It's a good little radio. I have one in my FJ40. A lot of the guys with 80-series Land Cruisers mount these in the ashtray compartment.

I bought this Uniden 510 for $32.90. It fit fine where the ash tray use to be. I also modified the 510 so that the antenna connector points down instead of out the back. That allowed a flush mount instead of being proud of the dash by 1".

Cobra 75WXST Compact/Remote Mount CB Radio is very popular among 4 wheelers. It only requires a place to hang it. Aprox $80. There is a small base that usually goes underneath a front car seat or other out of the way place.

Thanks guys! I hit up several nearly-empty circuit city locations today and found a screaming deal for a new-in-the-box radio...at the last store I visited, of course. Now for the RG-213 to arrive from HRO...
