Thanks guys! I'm feeling a bunch older than 56 today after rebuilding the front axle this past Saturday. Longfields, no more broken birfs for me!, went in very smoothly as did new Hi-Cap Koyo wheel bearings. As most of you already know, axle rebuilds aren't really very labor intensive but I'm feeling the aches and pains today so your birthday wishes go a long way to helping me feel younger. It's all a state of mind, right?

Yeah, the soreness is from sitting in the same position reaching into your front axle. Next Snow/Pizza run we'll have to get you in the same position yanking backwards with chains and then see how those Longfields do!

Happy birthday Steve! Yeah, I know what you mean about the mechanical aches and pains. I just re-did the front suspension on my 40, woke up and discovered I had a whole bunch of muscles I had forgotten I had. I just LOVE suspension work (NOT!).

Happy cruisin'!

Sure, Bill, anything to help a fellow Rising Sunner. ;) Christo's post is so close to the truth it hurts! Not as much as my hair hurts today though. Freakin' colds.

When you get to be my age, you get to celebrate a birfweek instead of a birfday. It has been a great one so far and thanks for all the good wishes. Dean and Natalie brought over a pinata that will be sacrificed at a camp site later this year.
