View Full Version : Wireless at Stevinson? Afterwards?

Is there unsecured wireless access at Stevinson? What about afterwards at Hopps? Anybody know?

Reason is, I have stupid work to do because the developers can't get their act straight with a new application. So I get to hang out near email JUST IN CASE they might be ready to deploy. Or... more likely, I will get a call after 10PM after missing the RS meeting and suds review afterwards.

Unless of course I don't have access, which, like forgetting an umbrella guarantees rain, they magically get ready and they scream bloody murder that I was not available to do my job...

Miss y'all. I especially don't want to miss Cheeseman's presentation.

You can call Hopps and ask: 303-216-2469

Not sure about Stevinson -- I don't think anyone has been successful with this yet. You could email Derek and ask:
Derek Jackson

On The Border definitely has wireless now. So we could always go over there and drink cold Mexican cerveza after the RS meeting so you could join us. That's the kind of sacrifice we'd be willing to make for you, Mr. Chili.

Well, duh... let me be more specific. Yeah, Stevinson's has wireless. Is it any good? Will I have issues?

Per Hopp's... they do not. Rats. Anybody know if there is unsecured wireless I can jump on that is close enough though?

There is open WiFi at Stevinson, but it's coverage is somewhat spotty upstairs in the room. I had Dean's computer on it, but W0IIN could not keep the connection on his.

Dunno about Hop's.

Awesome project manager. I asked her straight up (always the best policy), told her about the trail leader training.
I think you should go to the training. Just please bring your laptop/cell phone & try not to be too angry if we make you work :-( We are still anticipating another code drop to QA to fix the reports, so if that passes then we'll need you to promote it to UAT.

Makes me even more motivated to be sure I am covered.

Yeah, I figure I'll have to go downstairs.

(FWIW, she plays semipro hockey. Yar. :lmao:)

Little late to the party, but yes downstairs outside the parts department it works quite well. Upstairs not so much..
