Not that I think the weather people are right, but do we have a snow day procedure? If this afternoon ends up like last Thursday I doubt I will trek from DTC out to Stevinson and wondered if there is a plan to bump the meeting to next Wednesday if it's deemed too crappy to hold it tonight? Or is the assumption that since we all obviously drive Toyota trucks that there simply is no reason to postpone an event? I mean, like duh, not even a wicked act of Lucifer himself could stop a Toyota from delivering it's cargo on time and safely.

Robbie's got my truck...so I know I'm not going to make it in my little Mazda 3 commuter! Anyone willing to swing by to pick me up (144th & Sheridan) in Broomfield?

We haven't seen a single snowflake down here yet. I am surprised.

Its dumping up here in Boulder. I may or may not make it. I don't have a 4wd right now, so I have to see how things look.

Yes sir, I am. The fewer of us there makes the odds of winning a raffle prize all the better. ;)

Snow started here and now a frozen rain/snow thingie. Still at work and will be for a while more, so I might be out tonight, too. Fingers crossed.

I'm out. Blowing snow and icy on the way home. Only going to get worse.

I was just thinking about this. The irony of a 4 wheel drive club meeting with nobody showing up because of snow. Now that is funny. If i did not live so far i would be there. sorry gang. Don't want to spend all night trying to get home and have to get up at the crack of dawn to fight it all over again to denver. If it postpones i will try to make it. But a meeting where no one shows because of snow.........

I'm hoping to make it in just fine tonight, with raffle prize goods from REI and NAPA:D. It was dumping pretty good here about 1/2 hour ago but has now settled into soft, fluffy flakes.

It is very ironic...the biggest problem for me is the traffic from Castle Rock to there (40-ish miles). I bet it would take 1-2 hours just to get there if it's snowing like this over near 470.

Yeah, took me 3.5 hours from Aurora to Firestone on thursday. Not wanting to do that again. Would of been fine if i was playing and that was the reason. Good luck gang with the raffle. Will try to make the next one. I am trying to bring on a new member but schedules keep conflicting. He is interested though. take care.
