As some of you may recall I came into possession of 70s era vintage 4x4 magazines from Craigslist.

Matt-hulk has graciously offered to host them to make them available to all
but I am not sure yet where that thread is located. I probably have another 40-50 magazines to wade through yet.

If you are interested in seeing this road test of the FJ40 when new shoot me an email, or private message or respond to this thread with yours.

This same issue also has a full page ad for the 40-full page ad for Gates Rubber in Denver-also Suzuki Brute writeup and I could not recall by name which of you runs the Zuki.

How to Drive Offroad Part 1 is a major article with pics in this same issue. There is also a "future cars" story with sketches that is kind of hilarious-given that this was 1973 and they were conjecturing what the future vehicles would evolve into. If you are old enough you might recall the mystery of the year 2000 figure-I think we all pictured we would be in Jetson style speeders by now.

At some point the magazines themselves will be offered for sale as fundraiser for YotaTech member "Mary-1972TLC" injured in car accident a few months back. This actual issue is in outstanding shape with no water or sun exposure.

Thanks Ron, I Got them. :thumb:

If it had a black top, bezel and bumper, it would be my 40's twin. :D
