I was over at Profitt's on Monday. Jeremiah showed his new truck to me. It's a 2009 that he imported from Nicaraugua. It's left hand drive, turbo diesel, has factory lockers, etc. It looks similar to this picture but it has a 2.5" lift and much beefier tires on it. He said the cost was 30K plus 8K in taxes and such. It was pretty neat, too bad Toyota doesn't just sell them here too.

Front looks a bit like a 90 something Ford, but still a great looking ride.:)

I've seen 2 in my life, one a RHD diesel 2door hatch in Lafayette at Starbucks, and one, a RHD diesel 4door wagon in Buena Vista. If I wasn't so in love with the plain-jane, simple, rugged lines of the early 60s, I'd try really hard to own a 70 for my next car.
