I talked to Man-A-Fre in depth about their bumper. As long as you don't wish to put a cooler in the cooler carrier. You are good to go. They designed it on the specs of the old ARB freezer fridge that is no longer available. A standard cooler or a new ARB will not fit. Jerry cans might fit, I never checked on that. i am holding out for Mark at Metal-Tech to start production on his 40 bumper. It is a much better design but it not currently available.

I'm waiting too, still need to send him an email. Gotta make sure I could swing it before I hold the carrot in front of his eyes...

just wanted something to compare to.

Matt- of all that are currently on the market, I don't think you could go wrong with the 4+ design. I think they redesigned the cooler basket, but perhaps not.

I just couldn't justify a grand for a tire carrier...

But I have been all over one and they are really bomb proof. Poser (Steve) on Mud has one and has abused it with no ill effects.

Just another .02:thumb:

Neil Quigley (Rock Dog) has one on his old FJ40. If you want to see it, give him a call. He isn't on the forum that much.

off topic but doesn't IPOR make a similar bumper too.

Jim Beedon made mine and it should hold a medium sized ARB. I have not tried it but when I spec'd the cage on the bumper it was the appropriate size.

Yep.

Don't know anything about them, but if Lance makes it, it will be very stout.

Hatfield has an IPOR rear bumper...I'm not sure if they come with a basket though. I'm looking to hold either water cans or a cooler on mine if/when I get it.

Jeff,

that looks pretty nice; it looks like I would have to get some light protectors for the taillights with that setup. I'd be interested in taking a closer look at it sometime.

Jeff- I haven't seen your rig since you installed that. Man, that looks sharp!

Here's another shout out for Jim Beedon!:cheers::thumb:
