Just about completed my FJ40. Installing the last parts now and plan to have it in Crested Butte by June.

Engine, Transmission and Transfer case overhauled, new brake, clutch and clutch slave cylinders, new rear disc brakes, Axles overhauled with full ARB lockers F&R, new OME suspension, shocks, shackle reverse kit, 4+ front and rear bumper, all new weather strip, paint and interior.
What a lot of work! Now to enjoy in beautiful Colorado!

(Last photo is what I started with three years ago)

That's a beauty! Great color. It really looks awesome.

Your "before" photo reminds me of my first Cruiser, a 1975 FJ40 nicknamed Ugly75.

I noticed that too...I wonder why the change from the "outtie" to the "innie" on the design? :hill:

I think they make both. The "outie" is for the 8274 winch. T

I bought the FT-7800 and a CB. Exact set-up I hve in my 80. I can use the same database.

Wired but not installed yet. I wired it to be above the windshield or in the console. Suggestions anyone?
