Im in the process of doing my ps install. I mounted my pump to see if everything would line up and i realized that i cant mount the belts because everything is on my first row of pulleys. I searched mud and couldnt find any info. Its a 79 2F so it already has the holes for the ps pump. The pump is off a 60 and fits perfectly aside from the fact that its to far forward. The only thing i can think of doing is cutting the bracket to the pump and rewelding it in the right spot, which doesn't look easy. I took some pics to help describe my problem, buts its kind of hard to see.

Any suggestions before cut it up?

look at this and see what the stock configuration is supposed to be; I know there's a diagram on here somewhere:

Matt is correct, it is in there:

The orig 60 config uses that air pump to spin the water pump.

It looks like your air pump is MIA?

I think Jim C and SOR sell an idler pulley replacement to fill in for the air pump if your siezed...

Good luck!

What kind of PS are you running?

Sweet! thanks guys, i dont know how i missed that while i was researching. I was wondering how the ps pump would get tension. I just used a hollowed out smog pump. Its ready to go just waiting for my belts to come in. Pablo im doing the mini truck swap.
Im exited!
