I would love to take Sam to all those things but he needs to get his rabies shot and CO. papers and I just don't have the money for a vet visit. It sucks becuase he loves the water. The last meeting didn't consist of too much. They need CMC volunteers in case your interested. But that's about it. Sounds like you had fun in San Juan and Meg too.
I'm trying to get my dad to get a lab from the rescue. I spoiled him with Sam and he wants one just like Sam color and all. I told him he should come and check out the rescue and that I'm sure he would find a dog he likes. But getting him to drive here is a task. He lives 12 hours away. But I might be wearing him down. :-) Glad everything is well.

The cinnamon seems to be helping, thanks. I was out of town for the last meeting. The family has some property in the san juan mountains that I spent a few days at. the whole family was there, including my sister from Seattle, her 7 year old son, my brother and his 7 year old son and of course Meg. There's lots osf water down there for Meg to play in so she's happy.

how are you and Tim doing? Did I miss anything big at the last meeting?

    Thanks for checking in.

You can sprinkle some cinnamon on her food. Dogs love the taste and it helps inflammation in the joints. Be careful not to give her too much. A sprinkle or two should do. Too much cinnamon can be bad. Honey also helps with joint pain. This should be limited to a tsp a day. I can look up other remidies. Those are the ones that come to mind as I'm typing. I'll also look up what you can do for her runs. A banana is known to help humans and it is safe for dogs, but I'll research for sure. Hope everything is going well.

i have a question that maybe you can help me with. As meg ages, her arthitus is getting a worse. The vet suggestes glucosimine (sp?) and it seems to work. The probelm is the side ffetcs. It gives her the runs. I'm going out of town next week, w. Meg, so I can't make it into the vet untill myt return. It's also really not an emergancy, but Though i would see if you ahd any ideas for relieving arthritus pain in a lab.
