    I didn't think the lean was bad either, but Scott was doing the right/better thing by resetting the winch anchor point for the best possible angle to get the rigs off of the side-hill and back up onto the trail as soon as possible.

    Scott's way mitigated an avoidable rollover risk while also reducing the environmental impact of driving on the "tundra."

    I drove right over the snowfield. I thought I cut good clean tracks. You can see my uphill tire marks in some pictures. I strapped Ige's heavy 80 through with 6 HARD yanks from my 4,200 pound little 'runner. Then Ige backed up to square up to the hill and drove right up onto the road. The FJC and Scott winched through.
