Great day on Chinamans Gulch today. Hopefully others will post more pictures

Thanks to Dan for Leading and Bill for Gunning.

We had 9 trucks including a friend of Randy's in a Jeep who was a great guy and a cool International from someone Randy met. The international was sweet and really capable. Bet Nakari wishes he kept his now

The trail was a lot harder than before and a lot of fun. They did remove the rock obstacle after the double slab though

Tom did get a bit stuck when he rear locker relay didnt work. Swaped in the front relay and was able to back out

Dee and Sharon took turns driving the double slab and showed everyone how its done

Course Ige is always showing off. Look at her rippling bicep with her Jack Daniels Tatoo as she manuveers over the double slab :D

Fun day, Sorry Dan I didn't get any pictures of you

Like many before him, the Yellow Chili was denied on the double slab. I just watched all the video. No one could get up that left line on the slab.

It was a great day. Everyone was built and prepared and had a lot of fun. About 8 rigs. Thanks for leading Dan. It was great seeing BVB wheelin’ his FJ60. He did well (nice picture of you doing a wheel stand). Randy was really hooking up and was taking all the optional obstacles. I have video of him getting more large wheel stands. And some funny video of Dee driving and getting startled as she did a wheel stand.

Like Ken said many parts of the trail were pretty rough and dug out.

I was denied on the optional obstacle (Yoder Rock). But, was able to get clean diagonal lines on Whale Rock and the double slab. I was loving my new front locker coupled with the marlin.

The large rock on Sheps Revenge has been moved way over to the left so there is an easy line up the middle. I say you pretend the rock is still there and make yourself take the tricky high line like before. Then the decent back into the gulch is more tippy for sure.

I didn't take many pictures. I'll be working on editing the video down though. I have some good stuff.

Thanks but no, I don't want to step or Red Chili's name;). We thought of that when we build it and since we love green Chile we thought................

Nope we are going by "Habanero" A lot hotter in a smaller package:D :thumb:

JadeRunner 08-10-2009 09:50 AM

Fair enough. The "Habanero" it is.

had a blast. as mentioned, trail is definitely more dug out. great challenge. i also was denied in the rock garden. yoder and i got to have fun pivoting around on our undercarrages though:D

as we were heading out there, kevin thought he saw wes...turned out to be a montero:lmao:

got better...it was a montero with something hanging from it and a completely clueless older gentleman driving it.

nice shot of romer going through the v-notch, wayne in his sweet scout going up the left line on whale rock, and dee giddy as randy steers the mule up whale rock
