Hey Chris,

No matter what happens the weather will be great.

No worries.

Forcast from Marco:

Evenings:
Sunny, 60, and beer in hand talking about a great day of wheeling.

Nights:
Nights will be cool enough to enjoy a nice fire, but not too cool. I don't know what temperature that correlates with.

Days:
72 and sunny. Nice cool bottle of water from the fridge to wet your whistle when you need it. Good tunes on the radio.

Sounds like a good forecast Marco, go ahead and put me down as a reference when you apply for 9News.

I like Marco's forecast: Mostly great with a slight chance of awesome, occasional elations after 6:00 pm..

I hope we get some light afternoon rains, just enough to knock the dust down and allow the shorties to build sand castles... remember that BFE is at 6100', so take whatever you would have worn at Slickrock and add a layer. No matter how hot it gets by day we'll all likely be in sweatshirts and jeans at night.

That is an awesome forcast, Marco. You know me all to well.. I am stressing about the one thing I can't control....

I am super physched about going early for the 2nd annual pre-CM weekend run! 6 days out....

I put the big meats on yesterday, getting pretty fast at that. Only took 45 minutes...hahaha..I know that is not that fast..

I know a bunch of you all are covered but in case you are doing some last minute tent shopping, I pulled the trigger on a new family tent, the big one that is displayed at Costco right now. We needed a connected screened room with a floor to contain the rugrats and afford them a play area... $129.00..Looked it up on Coleman's website going for 289.00.. I hope the site I was planning on is big enough.

I use the NOAA forecast for work purposes and it seems to be the most accurate for the different places I go to around the country. NOAA.gov - Moab, UT

I hope the weather turns out better than forcasted. BFE will be wetter than Moab though because of the mountains and higher elevation. Everyone should be prepared for some wet days for sure. This crap stresses me out as well Chris.

Marco, you left out the part about passing the whiskey jug around the camp fire. No matter how cold or wet it gets, a little pain killer can make it all right.

I like the hop/barley:beer: beverage outlook in the afternoons that is forecast, and I'm not sure how much faith I put in the weatherman or Farmers Almanac, but here it is:

Moab, Utah Farmers Almanac outlook

Looks like rain and snow for Moab during April 28-30, and Rain turning sunny and seasonable May 1-4.

A slightly better forecast can be found here:

Weather.com forecast for Moab Utah

But it calls for rain as well.

I'm getting some wet weather gear ready. Tarps. Maybe a few extra pairs of shoes and sox. Checking the camper heater...
