Coax Connectors
Does anyone have the connectors/tools and know how to replace a coax connector for a CB cable? I want to route the cable into the cabin thru a grommet. Then add a new connector. of your choice for someone who can help.

you can get connectors at hro and come over to solder it on.

I have a box full of all kinds of connectors and can solder or crimp, whichever you want. I dunno what HRO charges for a standard PL-259 but I think the standard solder-type Amphenol ones I get are about $2 and the RG-58 adapter is I think about $0.50.

Yeah the PL-259 ones are about $2 or so at HRO... the guys there will even show you how to do it.

Actually, including how to check the inner and outer connectors for conductivity (hopefully lack thereof) afterwords. You must have got the wrong guy! :D
