Another I-pod Q

What are some good headphones for the I-pod  . The ones I got with the unit are crapping out. Any ideas?? Thanks.

not sure, but

The griffin pod buds or isounds or whatever, snap on, bass enhancing thingies suck. All three sizes are equally uncomfotable in my deformed?! ears.
It is true the bass frequencies are enhanced since they are jammed into your ear cannals, but the wind noise is enhanced and the sound of the earphone cables as they hit stuff like your clothes as you walk is also enhanced. yep, there is a physical connection between your ears and the headphones and the wire they are attached to too.

I have a shuffle and Lindsay has a mini. Lin uses the Griffin airtunes to broadcast via FM to her truck and I plug the AUX in from my head unit directly into my shuffle so I can go PODDING in my 4runner or in her Chevy.

I've got some Sony in-ear headphones that I bought at Sears on my way to Moab this year. They're nice because they block the road noise and provide good sound. I think they cost $40 -- kinda spendy, but I like them enough that I have no regrets.

I'll second that - I have Sony ear-buds, that I got at Circuit City - about $40, but they cancel out most outside noise.

The Bose ones are nice, but they are pricey and large.

I use Bose noise cancelling indoors and Sony for the outdoors. The Sony's I bought have little plastic loops that go behind your ears so they don't fall out, perfect for aggressive mtn biking, skiing, climbing, etc.
