Well, we had a semi-successful trip up. Saw some great country. Southwestern CO is stunning. Made it through the snow storm up the 160 from Durango. Coming over Wolf's Creek Pass was fun but I figured if the semi's were passing me, it couldn't be all that bad. The drive along the 295 into Evergreen/Conifer was epic. We're still looking at places to live but we're really jazzed about moving up. It's not going to happen soon enough.
Anyway, here's a few photos...
First snow experience for my girls but they absolutely loved it. Watching Piper trying to figure it out was just so awesome.
On the way home, we stopped at Bryce and drove through Zion. I had never been to Bryce in the winter and I can't imagine ever going back in the summer now.
I'll post up a few more photos of Bryce and Zion after I get them processed.
You're art is stunning!:bowdown::bowdown::photo: I might be interested in the last two photos in wall prints!
Oops....:lmao::lmao::lmao: No I'm not a pedophile :homer: I meant the Elk herd and the lat one of Bryce. :o
ditto to what UB said...
those are great pictures, first and last are epic.
my wife used to go to school in Durango before she was my wife,
did that drive semi-regular in the winter....those guys (semis) on that pass (wolf creek) are nuts imo
Nice.. :thumb: There is nothing cool'r than red rock country with snow. I've never been to Bryce or Zion with snow. It's probably off the chain in terms of beauty
Here's a few more of Bryce.
and a few of Zion.
