Best Place To Mount CB and Antenna?

Hey,
Trying to figure out the best place to mount a Cobra CB(kind of big) in my 88 Toyota Pickup, and what type of antenna to use? I don't want to drill a hole in my roof either!
Thanks for suggestions.

damn - cb? what are you a dinosaur?

seriously though, that's what I use. I have a k40 mounted on my hood, by the a pillar, which has a twist lock base for the mast. never put it on until I need it.

Passanger side to the tranny hump is my suggestion for the Radio. As for the antenna mount. Get a quick release and mount it behind the cab on the bed rail. Then get a 2m book and study for the test. 2m is way more useful. IMO

I mounted mine in the dash, replacing the little cubby in my 88 'Runner, and put the mic mount on the tranny hum, right in front of the driver's seat. Works great, as is very convenient. The antenna is mounted on the rear quarter panel, right above the tail light.
