Sleeping platform for my tundra
Finally got around to building a sleeping platform for my tundra.
Searched around for plans and pics for a while and this is what I came up with.
Wanted it light, easily removable, able to fit my fat skis underneath, and small when not in use.

Plenty of room for the fatties
Can be removed in about 3min, weighs 91 pounds, and stores small.
Going to try it out tomorrow night heading to fruita for some biking with the :Princess:

Its so you can see the details of my fine craftsmanship. Hmmm maybe that wasn't a good idea???

Show up well for me :D

Nice work, I dig it. I like how the 2x4's hold it from moving and how the upright board stay put with the bed liner. Clever.

Yeah! Whatz up guys? They look just perfect on my TRS-80! :comp:

Anyway, Nice work! Where did you get the pads?

mukker4life 09-19-2012 07:44 AM

I got the pads at Costco about 10 years ago? Looked on amazon and they have some for about 65.00 a piece. Don't remember paying that much for them though.

Thanks Marco, I was surprised how well everything fit together. 1x10's fit perfect after I routered the bottoms to fit in the bed liner.
