Brake line clips

3 Attachment(s)
Have anyone ever seen these brake line clips? They're welded to both my axle housings & are 1.5" wide. If so, any idea what the other part that attaches to the brake line is called? Or where I could get it?Attachment 32454Attachment 32455Attachment 32456

Do you just run the brake line parallel to those things, and then zip tie between the two, or just attach them using a hose clamp?

Are those factory?

I have no idea. I'm currently running them parallel & using zip ties but I thought that there might be a bracket designed for the set up that was "more permanent"

Doubt it. They're not on my other stock '76 axle. I think the PO added them in the rebuild

I've never seen anything like that OEM. Looks like a zip tie mount. Did it have hard or flex lines crossing the housing?

No idea. I'm planning on running a hard line.

Those were definitely added. I did something similar to run wiring on my truck.

Those look like 1/2 of a chain link cut and welded to the housing. You can probably buy it at your local Depot, or Ace for a buck a foot or something similar.

I used the large Electrical Staples...cut them off and welded them. This way I can zip-tie to the staple and remove/replace as often as I like.

The ones on your axle are a bit larger than the ones I welded on, but same idea.
