Identifying fuse-looking thing

After the welding "incident" I was forced to install an entirely new wiring harness. I'm currently working on it and came across this fuse-looking thing. Any idea what it is & do I need to in-cooperate it into the Painless? 1964 FJ40. It's on the upper passenger side of the firewall. Sorry for the lazy, non-searched, question; limited time today.

Voltage regulator?

Zipper flange?

Voltage regulator probably. If someone upgraded to a newer alternator with an internal regulator, you can probably remove it entirely.

What's behind the cover if you remove it? I can't see any reason for a removable cover if it's a relay. A regulator (old school) usually has some sort of adjustment though.

General consensus on Mud is that it's a horn relay... Ige wins!!!

Horn relay - I'll trade you some  for it if you don't end up using it.
