Think I'll need a PW soon

Lilah decided that she was going to ride her bike a couple of days ago. The Strider really paid off. She's only 3 years old but doing pretty good. Looks like Santa better start saving for a PW50... Little sooner than expected!

Her Brother, on the other hand, is more interested in puddles but is starting to balance a little:

That's awesome! Our daughter is 4 and she just did her first solo ride w/o training wheels this weekend too. She's still pretty timid though, have to psych her up, etc.. but she'll get there. I already promised her I'd pink up her brother's CRF50 once she has the 2-wheel thing dialed... so on the lookout for a 70 most likely, just to stay clutchless.

I actually rode a Honda 50 before a pedal bike. I couldn't balance and pedal. My dad wanted me to race motocross as a kid, so I was "forced" into learning to ride before I could pedal.

I still remember falling at the track and pinning the throttle in the dirt. I would cry because it was stuck wide open! BRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAPPP! Someone would have to come pick the bike up for me.

When we brought her home I remember thinking that it would be forever until I was able to get back on my bike. You know what they say... Long days, short years- something like that.

We go out on occasional Sundays to this vacant lot up north in Longmont (see the recent Ham & Eggs run thread for a map). It would be a haul for you (about an hour) but if you ever want to meet up there lmk, she could totally take the 50 for a spin at a pretty safe place.

Cool, thank you very much. I don't want to push to hard especially since I know a good "get off" is coming soon. We'll see how we're doing in a few weeks!
