Looking for a Vet in CO Springs

Dropped by a local vet clinic today to see what getting the two Labs I've inherited neutered is going to cost and was told $300 for each.:( Anyone in the Springs area that knows a good, affordable vet?

I was going to recommend the humane society, but all they are selling is an agenda! :)

If you are interested in getting your dog spay/neutered, you must qualify for this program based on your income or participation in select government programs. Income qualification is not required for cats.

They aren't in the Springs, but are very cheap and host vaccination clinics on Saturdays, all shots = $10.

Right in the root-sters neighborhood too. We used them to have our lab spayed. She lived.

I have nothing better to add, we used an expensive place and the dog suffered a lot. $$ in my opinion doesn't = talent in the OR or anesthesia.

Poor Meadles.
