I know girraffee is looking for these.

Interested! But I'm not familiar with due attacks. How good are the compared to MTRs as far a puncture resistance?

MTSN 06-11-2014 09:56 AM

What is their approximate mounted height? Are they a "true" 35?

Bruce Miller 06-11-2014 10:11 AM

I'm not sure about how they compare with the Goodyear MTR's. I prefer the Dura-Tracs as they aren't directional and seem to wear better and have better longevity. That is my own opinion anyway.

The tire height mounted is 34.6" per the MFG specs.

Thanks for the interest.

I had a set of these temporarily mounted on my truck with about the same amount of tread. They were right around 34". They were extremely quiet compared to my MT MTZs. I have these on my list as a possible next tire, but I want to get some more club opinions on whether people are having trouble with sidewall issues since they are a bit thinner than some of the heavier tires?

I have a set of 305/70/16 Duratracs on my FJC and they are the best all around tire that I have ever owned. They are fantastic in the snow and wet conditions. The sidewall is great because of the pattern and not smooth like my old BFG KM2's. I've put mine through hell without any cuts or damage. No chunking either.
I'd actually be all over this if I was regeared right now. Good luck with the sale!

The sidewall design is not the same as the MT/R. Duratracs are constructed much like other AT type tires. I found published height is accurate when tires are new. I have a set studded for winter use.

Do you ever venture up to Denver?

Bruce Miller 06-13-2014 03:24 PM

The tires are located in Longmont north of Denver. They are still for sale.

Thanks all.
