 Sweet and great pics! You guys made it several miles before turning around? You made it several miles farther than those of us who made the snow/pizza run. Good job!!!!!!

If that sign is any indication, that's a lot of snow!

Thank you guys for another for a sweet run. I'll be at the meeting on wensday. My carnage for this trip, speedo cable and a crossover pipe. I think the leaking exhaust crossover burned the cable up.

Looks like fun! I had a b-day party to go to yesterday afternoon and couldn't make it. It sure was windy down here, I can only imagine how windy it was up there.

Is that Mike's 40? I thought he had a 1978, but then I saw the early style turn signals on the bib and none on the fenders. But I just re-checked the cover of High Trails and sure enough, no turn signals on the fenders. Did Bill make it out? Who else was there?

Had a great time yesterday:thumb: . Thanks Bill for giving us another reason to get together. Lots of snow up there. Oh and the wind kinda blowing:rolleyes: . Felt good to go play in the snow again. Some reason, didnt get any pics.

Mike (ORS) has a new design crossover that might make your day. Qual tested on the Chili. The first one didn't fare so well.

We made it to just before the switchbacks near the summit, about 2.5 miles shy of the top. The bikes next week will NOT make it to Georgetown.

Just found out I have duties next Sunday, so I'll not be there to witness the carnage!

None of the 40s ever had turn signals on the bib;)

I bet the snow was deep and icky up there, I went up to test out my new 32 inch muds around mid November (fj60) before I put my lift on and got stuck as sin. I came in from the georgetown side and where it flattens out and you start going down the hill there was a large snowdrift from the wind. The drift was evil, ate my 60 alive, and I think it does quite well in the snow. Now with the lift on it does a lot better but it also gets me in a lot more trouble as well..... Looks like you guys had fun, I should have tried to make the trip but I've been messing with an idle issue.
