Since we are right behind the wagon run, we are safe. Andy Pollack is a Dr.

This is good to know.

Also, just as an FYI, 151.625MHz is not an amateur frequency, but probably a regular public service one. We can listen on that frequency, but can normally can't TX on it.

Remember I am right behind you. I finally got a HT and will be monitoring all sorts of stuff. :D

What's the CSQ mean? I'll ask Bruce about it on MUD.

CSQ is an abbreviation for 'Carrier SQuelch'. It's another name for PL tones (which is technically Private Line Tone, which is the name Motorola gave it) or CTCSS. I think CSQ is the GE version of PL. I dunno, but I think they are similar in steps to PL, but I'll have to look into it more.

hand held Cb

Robbie, I also have two hand held CB radios, in addition to my mounted CB unit. I will bring them as back up and if you need a CB while you are walking and spotting.
