behind my 45, of course. i haven't even gotten the engine in and running on the pig (not a hard thing to do if i'd just do it) and i've decided to go with 60 axles. well, ok, i decided about a year and half ago to go with 60 axles. so, this weekend, i finally started to prep the 60 axles.

decided while i was cleaning everything up, i'd go all out since the axles were junkyard axles. working on getting them completely cleaned up before putting something good like por on them. with money being tight, i have to make sure i get my money's worth out of the consumables. i think i'm doing good there :D

I doubt if your build is as long as my 76 FJ40, but the photos look like good progress on yours. Happy cruisin'!

yeah, but all i was planning on was installing a drivetrain and springing over. heck, engine's been tackwelded in for three years and it's still not running ;)

i'd hate to see how long it would take if i was trying to actually rebuild everything.

At the rate Jeff and Ige make progress, they're clearly going to live forever (or plan on it). This is good! I'll peer down from heaven, years from now, and see Ige giving someone the finger and Jeff still jammin' - and neither one wrenching ;-)
