This is what they are (above). They would be a good upgrade (I suspect) for a 4Runner with the smaller brakes, but will require 16" wheels.

The OEM Toyota emission manuals are indispensable. Spector offroad (SOR.com) has them in reprint form, but you have to get the exact manual you need - Calif or Fed, for your exact year (through 1980).
