FYI, the factory tubing is 3mm ID, so if you're going to source it from somewhere else try to find 3mm ID tubing. 1/4" is just a hair too big and won't be a good tight fit.

Definitely recommend NOT having an FJ40 as your only vehicle. Maybe back when they were new, but it's just too stressful having to keep up a 31+ year old vehicle at all times...
