Good call on the 4:56's. I should have mentioned that I have a AA 4:1 t-case. This is an 8% under drive from stock. With a 4:10, I'm extremely close to a "4.56"

Why not use the crank nut to rotate the engine?

P.S. I'm guessing that you are trying to rotate the engine to get the pressure plate and flywheel off so that you can remove the bell housing correct....
