I'm putting my 72' FJ40 back together and I'm not sure if I'm missing a part or not??

It appears there should be a plate or cover that mounts on on top of the steering column before the steering...

I think I've decided to go the AA route and just fab a new tcase/tranny crossmember instead of using the AA propeller style mount. It's sound like a simpler setup.
