Yes, the holes actually do serve a nice purpose. They lighten the panel and strengthen it by a ton. Before the holes, I stood on the center plate gently between two 2x4s, and it started to bend in....

Thanks guys!!! Very good information about the handling. It actually will have about an inch of rake with the rear bumper on. I'll leave it be for now and see how things work out.

The online consensus seems to be no less than 55 mm of droop on these, which, on my brothers truck, leaves it looking really low in the front still...
