Bummed about your rusty Toyota?

Its not just steel bodies that corrode. This aluminum D110 had some nasty corrosion forming in the bottom of the doors.

Unusual suspension mod

I saw this on a highly modded old Bronco not too long ago. It looks like it would improve flex without twisting the springs as much. There is a pivot between the spring and the axle.

Is the middle of the old cross-member healthy? It might make more sense to move the shock mounts to a whole new length of tubing rather than trying to splice in the old rusty piece.
