LEG 3, Argentine Pass to McClellan Mountain (13,117 feet) Ė 6.13 miles
As I started to head down back into the valley, I had to get this shot:

After cranking a hard left to turn up to McClellan Mountain, I saw myself with a good view of the Sawtooth Ridge between Mt. Bierstadt and Mt. Evans:

McClellan Mountain has a couple good overlooks of Stevens Gulch, where the standard trailhead for Grays and Torreys is located. Donít doubt your brakes and clutch now; itís 1,500 feet before youíll stop rolling:

Grays Peak on the left and Torreys Peak (14,267 feet) on the right:

The end of the road on top of McClellan Mountain:

I tried to establish radio contact at this point: someone was coming over the air, just barely breaking my squelch, I think it was Ricardo but we didnít really have any communication.
