Fill up with gas in Grand Junction, as it is a long way to the next gas station. Also I'd suggest taking the 2nd Cisco exit (202 I think) and follow hwy 128 s down the Colorado river into Moab. Beautiful drive and only 15min longer than hwy191. Be ready to have red sand in everything you bring to Moab. Bring a down coat if you have one. Most of the trails are near town so you have the opportunity to get groceries and supplies in the mornings or after trail runs. I bring a big cooler to keep at camp and a small one to have in the truck during the day. Wear good shoes, most accidents seem to happen while walking around on trail. Join us for the Hot Wing Cook off on Thursday night 7:30ish. Or at least stop by and sample a couple wings.
