You can so still buy the model 425 stove from Coleman. They added a few bits of plastic for Bakelite, replaced the pump seal with rubber instead of leather and changed the way the lid locks down in the 1970s, but the fundamentals of the pump, generator and burner didn't change.

No question on the rest. If we were only so lucky to have Brunton and Toyota as stuck in the mud as Coleman. ;-) Heck, AFAIK they still make the 425 stove in Wichita for goodness sakes.

BTW, I noticed on their website just now that they list the burners at 6,500 and 7,500 BTU. :-/ I recall them being higher than that, but they might used to have been and they changed them to increase the burn times. Dunno
