I like to hang out on the CW portion of the bands because of the challenge CW presents to me. I, too, could never learn a foreign language. CW is the closest I could get. It's still very much a challenge for me today after being on CW for 37 years. I think it was Winston Churchill who said "Play for more than you can afford to lose and you will learn the game." I think of that quote every time I fire up the rig. The challenge is huge but the rewards of making a CW QSO are even bigger. I hope they never take away our CW band privileges because of a lack of activity.
