Default Four Mile Fire HAM Activity

HAMS are assisting with the Four Mile Fire on a repeater at 146.760. I ran into a mobile spotting station at Flagstaff Park. After verifying I was a HAM, they became super friendly and gave me this frequency. The guy in the background was in a Sheriff's Uniform (under the poncho - nobody minded the rain!). I then monitored 146.760. I heard several stations report locations and observations. After official duty time ended there was chit chat and they were plainly asking from more volunteers. I have no idea who to contact but maybe one of you does, or someone could reach out on 146.760.

The second device looked to be a temporary repeater on top of Sugarloaf Mountain. It would have also been a great observation spot, but was unstaffed.
