I am considering getting a winch in the near future. Would probably lean towards the superwinch ep9. I think ideally I would like to go synthetic
rope for less weight and a bit safer.
Should I buy the rope at the same time and sell the cable before it even hits the winch? Or spool up the wire rope and sell it down the road for less (or no) money as it gets exposed to a colorado winter?
I mostly use the cruiser for desert type "mini expedition" trips and biking in the summer, and skiing in the winter. No crazy wheeling. If new cables are worth 50 bucks or something it may not be worth messing with
