I've moved to the "remove-my-wheels-myself-and-transport-them-to-discount-tire-in-a-much-too-small-car" method of dealing with exactly this reason. I suspect they err on the side of too much torque when installing customer tires.
Sounds like the duratrac's are a definite improvement.
If it wasn't for the bad experience I've had with two different GY tires (eagles and silentarmors) I might have gone with those instead of the TG's.
