I've heard that tire manufacturers are now being required to go away from the date code system to another system that's more clear to the general public.

there are no spaces between the numbers. And I don't know what long vs short codes are.
Seems like based on the numbers it must be 1993, which means these are some potentially sketchy tires that I don't have $ to replace right now. Wish me luck ya'll.
