I've really thought about the General. But, it would be just to say I have it. I rarely talk on the HAM unless we're on a club run. I don't have a home station or anything like that.

My usual uses are:
Club Runs
The weather 162.550
And I usually pull up the air traffic frequencies on my way to work. It tells me which way we're landing/converging, how busy it is, what the winds are doing.

The talk on the Net or the repeaters is usually too technical for me and I lose interest. I need a HAM for dummies repeater. All everyone talks about is antennas, wires and fuses.
