The Yaesu FT-2200 is a compact, full-featured 2 meter mobile transceiver. Despite its diminutive size, it provides RF power out at 5, 25 or 50 watts. 49 Memories are available. Extended receive from 110-180 MHz is featured including the civil air band (118-139 MHz in AM mode). The optional DVS-3 Digital voice unit permits digital voice recording and playback. This radio requires 13.8 VDC at 12 amps. (140x40x160mm 1.25 kg). A backlit DTMF hand mic is supplied.

The Yaesu FT-7200 is similar to the FT-2200 but covers the 430-450 MHz (70 cm) band instead of 2 meters. RF power output is 5, 20 or 35 watts. This radio requires 13.8 VDC at 12 amps.
Clicking through the link above, apparently the FT2900R is the current new model in that line of rigs...It runs $150-$200 it would seem depending on current rebates. Dave can probably give you a better idea of what the FT2200 is worth but maybe $50-$100 if it is in good working shape?

Sounds like a good little radio for a 40 - Someday I plan to put something similar in my 40...
