No, but the heat gun part of that might be a really good idea. I assume that this (as Steve described) rock-hard used-to-be adhesive might be softened with the heat. And Steve, I do have a straight-edge razor scraper which is what I used to get the original tint itself off, so maybe just being real patient and using a bunch of heat might be the answer.

Heck, maybe even a torch if used carefully? When I was trying to get the old weatherstrip off the doors of my 40 I tried all kinds of mechanical methods with varying degrees of success. When I finally got out the torch I just burned and melted it all off, not unlike old rubber suspension bushings.

Of course it has crossed my mind to simply take it to a window tint shop and pay someone to take it off....
