Absolutely doable on a dual sport. Especially Owl Creek Pass. Watch for deer though, I almost whacked a few including a MONSTER buck. There are some free range cattle up there too, so hitting one of those on a bike wouldn't be the most awesome thing ever done.

It's really pretty right now, but late September - early October is the best time to be there IMO.
