I am also concerned about drive shat clearance for the pto winch, but, if I have to sacrifice that for some power, so be it. I would move to an electric one, if needed.
Anyone happen to have another source for an engine? 2fe, sbc/kit, anything? I think I will have to finish with my current restoration first before I can get the 40 redone and that should be another month or so. I have no room left in my shop at the moment.
I just have a feeling that moving to the 3fe is going to be a huge undertaking that I may regret in the end anyway.
I have some time to come up with other options, I guess is my point.
