I've removed and reinstalled the pump a few times on the 3B, with uses the same SST (short piece of injection pipe) as the 13BT.
In the end, I decided that it was just much easier to reinstall the IP to the timing mark.
It's a calibrated length of pipe that you're looking for, and I don't know precisely how long it should be. Otherwise, I'd imagine Central Motive Power would be able to make you that section of pipe.
