The camp chef is the best bet and a extra bag of lava rocks to pile on it so it's more of a dome or mtn. The more rocks will keep the heat more than a flame will. If you mod it your going to burn more propane. IIRC we get half a tank a night on a standard camp chef. I can't remember how many hours 4 ish..
Wes hit the nail on the head. The Napoleon is prettier and better built. Doesn't feel as warm as the cheap Camp Chef with lava rock. Plus Camp Chef replacement parts are easy to get and reasonably priced.

You'll get about 7-8 hours out of a tank running the pit wide open. These things don't put out a ton of heat, so you can count on running them wide open.
