It's an 80 with the big 6 turbo diesel 1HDT.
As far as RHD, I don't really care. I would be far more worried about finding a no rust, mechanically sound, truck. That's FAR the biggest deal when shopping. Most of those later trucks are set up pretty well to Mr. Potatohead back to LHD without too much trouble. You can see all the firewall bosses for the brake booster in that engine shot. You would need a new steering box, and a new dash & a/c box, but beyond that, I believe most of it bolts up either way. Some exporters even sell kits. http://www.japan-partner.com/LHD-conversion.php
