Question.. can I put an Electric locker in the front, or does it need to be ARB. And with 33" tires, 6 speed manual will I need to change out the Ring and Pinion to a 4?? gearing
Ray, that sounds like a sound build plan so far. I'll keep an eye out for you around town as that will be a head turner soon. IIRC there are not any electrics currently on the market but TJM also offers an ARB style air locker that seems to be gaining in popularity as another option. Not sure about gearing on your '09 Taco. I know there is no way my 1st gen taco 2.7L would escape it's own shadow with out gears and tires over 32" but you may get away with it with the manual.
